Darilyn Johnson was born to the parents of Pastor, Prophet Darrell D. Johnson and Evelyn L. Shankle of Fort Worth, Texas, in 1983. As a child, she had dreams of obtaining a healthcare law degree, which opened the door for her to pursue a degree in healthcare and minor in criminal justice. Darilyn graduated in the top half of her class at Crowley High School.

In 2005, Darilyn Johnson enrolled at Concorde Career College, where she received her Certification in Medical Coding & Billing. Darilyn holds a certification as a National Registered Certified Coding Specialist with NAHP. After graduating 4th in her class, Darilyn’s testimony was featured on the Concorde Career College website. She soon became the face of the Concorde Career College Medical Coding & Billing Program. Darilyn Johnson later became an active member of the Concorde Career Institute Advisory Board.
